With the greatest respect to all the other 11 Mercury Price 2010 nominations - I`d be surpised it their c.d`s are better than this collection of 10 stunning songs , beautifully sung and interpreted , lyrics of such depth , and melodies which move and embrace you. What an album and what an artiste - she surely must be the Mercury Price first folk winner .Good Luck Laura you deserve it .

I bought this on a spur of the moment because of one person's recommendation. I had never heard Laura Marling's music beforehand and I'm glad I purchased it.

A great follow-up album, a lot different but there's nothing wrong with change...I'll be listening to this for a long time to come. :)
